I suppose there are various ways of toasting and raising a glass of something: cheers, salut and prost, amongst others. Bottoms up does sound a bit strange if you stop to think about it but it’s very appropriate for Privvi. I guess it’s about lifting the glass and seeing the underside of it (that’s never occurred to me before).
I failed to get a decent shot of a beer garden in Norfolk and managed to get this yesterday evening. Although it’s sunny in the shot, it’s actually freezing so I didn’t stay long and left the beer behind. It is good to get out again and the garden was quite busy despite the cold.
